Camille began her career as a kindergarten lead teacher in a private school in Tyler in 1966. She taught reading in public and private school, and directed two preschool programs, which she founded. Camille is also involved in numerous national, state, and local professional and civic organizations. Her hobbies include reading, fishing, gardening, and flying. She has two children of her own, two stepchildren, twelve grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Stepping Stone has been an exciting and unique place to learn and grow since 1968. Camille has always believed that learning should be fun so that students will become life-long learners. Designed with working parents in mind, the Preschool, serving 6 weeks through Pre-K, is open Mon-Fri 7 am – 6 pm. The program is nationally accredited and offers an excellent curriculum and environment for those most important early learning years. Enhancements to the curriculum include: Brain Gym, Spanish, Music, Montessori Math, and Sign Language. Additional extra-curricular activities offered in the afternoon are: Dance, Gymnastics, Soccer Shots, Computer and TOTS.
